How to select a divorce solicitor | Evans Solicitors

Choosing a Solicitor

You can explore recommendations from friends or colleagues. You can walk down your nearest high street, or you can try searching online. Whichever route you take, you should seek the advice of a family law specialist who has the expertise to provide you with the right service and advice.  This ensures that you achieve the right outcome and that matters are resolved as swiftly as possible.

Divorce is an emotionally challenging process and can leave you feeling vulnerable and scared for the future. So how do you know you’ve found the right solicitor to assist you?

  • The solicitor you appoint should be a family law specialist and have the expertise to assist you.
  • You should feel comfortable speaking to them and be confident that they are handling your case properly from the outset.
  • You should be able to speak to your solicitor initially, before you decided whether they are the right solicitor for you.

Evans Solicitors are family law specialists with years of experience helping clients through separation and divorce. We offer initial FREE advice via phone or online, so that you can discuss your requirements and obtain sound legal advice to help you decide how to proceed.  We can arrange a face to face meeting in our offices, if you would prefer the initial meeting to be in person.

We understand that reaching out and speaking with a solicitor about a divorce is a big step to take and one which many people are reluctant to take for a number of reasons. It can be daunting and we aim to put people at ease and ensure they leave the initial meeting with as much information as possible.

We understand that it is likely you are feeling vulnerable and that your partner may have told you, unexpectedly, that your relationship is over.

You may be someone who has been unhappy for some time, having done all you can to save your relationship and you now want advice on how to formally separate.

We listen and we are sensitive to the needs of our clients and fully understand the emotive nature of family issues.  You should be assured that any dealings you have with us will be in the strictest of confidence.

For FREE initial legal advice, please complete the form below or call us on 01908 082442.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Use of this form does not create a solicitor-client relationship. Be assured that all calls will be confidential.
